On/Off charter surveys of barges, ships and various marine equipment; New constructions vessels and barge delivery surveys; Condition and valuation surveys on towing vessels, barges, fishing vessels; Vessel salvage recovery and wreck removals including salvage/handling of damaged vessel until final disposition.

Conduct cargo loss surveys of containerized, palletized. break bulk and liquid cargoes, and the salvage/handling of damaged cargo until final disposition; Container and containerized cargo surveys; Container load and discharge surveys; heavy lift and project load and discharge surveys. Provide pre-purchase, insurance, condition, valuation, and donation surveys for individuals, financial institutions and insurance companies. Provide insurance and damage investigation services. Conduct Marina and warehouse surveys for safety and securement.
I have purchased Tow Inc. from Mr. Gerry Schurb in February 1999 with Mr. Shurb retained for three years as a consultant. I personally have been involved in the marine survey business since 1980 – 45 years.
We currently engage in survey of barge and towboat operations on the Upper Mississippi River; including damage surveys, value and condition surveys, and cargo including outturn and damage cargo. We are also performing yacht condition and value surveys and hatch outturn surveys on ocean vessels at Dultuh, Minnesota.
We are a correspondent with the American Institute of Marine Underwriters, handling cargo in the area appointed, the State of Minnesota and Wisconsin, north 43 degrees -30 north and west of 90 degrees West.
Education: Degree B.S. Business, U.S. Army Certificate of Competency Audits/Surveys, Military Statutory and Classification Surveys, Class Five, Loss Prevention Specialist.
