As a Marine surveyor he possesses extensive expertise in inspecting and assessing vessels and cargo, to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards. With 15 years on the job, he has honed his skills in evaluating hull integrity, machinery, electrical systems, and navigational equipment, identifying potential risks, damage or defects with a sharp, practiced eye. His experience spans a variety of vessel types—commercial, cargo, passenger, and recreational.
Over the years, he has developed a meticulous attention to detail, producing comprehensive reports for vessel owners, insurers, and legal entities involved in sales, insurance claims, or disputes. His work also includes cargo inspections, damage assessments.
He has a strong practical experience, having spent countless hours on docks, drydocks, warehouses, loading, discharging and aboard vessels. He is adept at using advanced tools like ultrasonic thickness gauges, Moisture meters and drones for hard-to-reach areas, adapting to technological advancements in the field.
Interpersonally, he is confident and yet approachable, capable of communicating findings clearly to clients.
He holds relevant certifications, like those from the American Institute of Marine Underwriters (AIMU) American Boat & Yacht Counsel (ABYC), and Upper Mississippi Waterway Association (UMWA) In short, he has with 15 years as a marine surveyor become be a highly skilled, adaptable, and knowledgeable professional, blending technical prowess with practical know-how, trusted to uphold the safety and integrity of the maritime industry.
